Submissions for 3rd Lahore International Children Film Festival are now open.

Submissions Deadline:

March 31 2010

Submit Your Film:

You can submit your film to LICFF by:
Submit the online registration form at www.lahorechildrenfilm.com (one entry form per film)

And sending the following material to the festival by 31 March 2010.

- A signed participation agreement (one participation agreement per film).
- A preview screening copy of the film on DVD (PAL), mini DV/mini HDV, clearly labelled with its title.
- Two high-quality images from the production (at least 300 dpi) and the image of the director. The images can come on seperate CD of can be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Please give the images the same name as your film (e.g. ‘FilmTitle1.jpg’, ‘FilmTitle2.jpg’ etc).
- All films not in English must be subtitled or dubbed in English.

For international submissions, please write "No commercial value, for cultural and educational Purposes only" on the envelope.

For customs purposes please write the value as 10 US dollars, 10 Euro or the equivalent.
Please send your entries in hard DVD/DV case (preferably placed in bubble bags) to avoid any damage in the mail.

Documentary (Non-Fictional work of over 40 minutes of duration)
Feature (Fictionalized films over 40 minutes in duration)
Short-Animation (Animation of any length upto 40 minutes)
Short-Live-Action (Feature of any lenght upto 40 minutes)
Short-Live-Action/Animation (Real life action and animation mix of length upto 40 minutes)
Child-Made-Animation (Any length of animation made by child aged upto 18 years old)
Child-Made-Live-Action-Short (Any length of live action made by child aged upto 18 years old)
Child-Made-Documentary (Any length of documentary made by child aged upto 18 years old)

Accepted Formats

The festival will accept submissions on DVD for selections. In an effort to provide the best digital presentation possible, we will ask film makers of the selected films to provide films on DV tapes.

Please make sure all DVD works are compatible with standard PAL players.

Be aware that the copy you send should not be works in progress or contain watermarks such as “Promotional Copy.”

If the original version of the film or video is in a language other than English, the film should be subtitled in English.

Additional Materials

We encourage you to submit Film Related Materials if possible, such as festival brochure, CD of film stills, script, reviews and poster. These materials will be preserved as festival archive.

Once accepted to the 3rd Lahore International Children’s Film Festival 2010, you might be contacted to submit additional promotional materials such as links, press, artwork, clips, and trailers.

In addition, we invite all accepted artists and filmmakers from Pakistan, if possible, to hold a short Q&A following their screening.

Permission

In submitting films to The 3rd Lahore International Children’s Film Festival, the filmmaker agrees that the film, if selected may be screened at the festival and be used for publicity and promotional uses by the festival.

Once accepted, the film also will be screened in traveling film festival locally and/or other international collaboration projects and festivals.


Conditions of Submission

Your Entry will be part of the Lahore International Children’s Film Festival archives.

You must own all proprietary rights to the submitted films.

You will grant to the Festival all rights to exhibit the work, including but not limited to, use in conjunction with promotion of the Festival and other national and international collaboration projects.
 

Disclaimer

We will only be responsible for the films which reach to us in good form, without any damage in the mail. Festival dates, deadlines, details and rules are subject to change.
