It gives us a great pleasure to share that the 2011 Lahore International Children’s Film Festival met a wonderful success.
This year, we screened 83 films from 26 countries on 2 venues, attended by nearly 8,000 people including children, young people, parents, teachers, film enthusiasts and general audience.
It was very challenging to produce the Pakistan’s only children’s film festival but through our supporters and the commitment of our team, we made it possible and managed to put together one of the finest film festivals for children and young people in Pakistan. The response of the audience, schools, children and young people was over whelming.
Keeping our promise of inclusiveness and openness to all, The Little Art team resolved to include the less-privileged school children for our festival. This year we engaged almost all major organizations working on child protection in Lahore, to bring children from their shelter homes and care centers to experience the festival. The festival was able to run its own transport for children as well.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Partners, Patrons, Schools, Volunteers, and Supporters for making the 3rd Lahore International Children Film Festival an overwhelming success.
We are sharing some of the highlights of the festival through this report with you.
We hope and look forward to the continued support from our partners, sponsors and schools for our upcoming arts education projects and hope to see our relationship grow by leaps and bounds with all.
