Four Pakistani youths – selected by the Lahore International Children’s Film Festival (LICFF) – proudly represented Pakistan at the 2nd Salam International Youth Film Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan, from August 28th to 31st, 2023.
Our four delegates for 2023, Rashna Zafar, Abdulrehman Siddiqui, Moeez Athar, and Ali Raza, along with chaperone Umair Mushtaq, had the opportunity to experience the magic of filmmaking firsthand at the 2nd Salam International Youth Film Festival. They collaborated with international peers, learned from industry experts, and even created their own short films! However, Salam goes beyond workshops and sets; it fosters cultural exchange and lifelong friendships.
