Represent Pakistan as Young Jury in Italy, Iran and Azerbaijan

LICFF(Lahore International Children’s Film Festival) is selecting young people to represent Pakistan and become a member of the international jury in Italy, Iran, and Azerbaijan.

Since the last seven years, we have been taking children’s delegates to international children’s film festivals in Giffoni (Italy), Doha (Qatar) Isfahan (Iran) and Salam (Azerbaijan).

During the festival, the children and teenagers watch the films, learn about the filmmaking process, and are called to judge them and award the best ones with prizes.

Age Group;

Italy: 13 – 18 Years

Iran & Azerbaijan: 13 – 17 Years

The selection will be made on the basis of the following criteria;

– Interest in film and visual media

– Confidence to represent Pakistan in an international festival

– Can use English as a working language

– Hold a valid Passport with a minimum of 6 months of the expiry date

 

Terms & Conditions:

  • The cost of the stay, food and local travel for total stay is sponsored for the selected children.
  • The participants’ will bear the cost of return flight, visa, health insurance, and management fee.

Registration Forms

The Giffoni International Film Festival is the largest children’s film festival in Europe, and possibly the world. It takes place in the little Italian town of Giffoni Valle Piana in Campania, Southern Italy. Over 6000 children attend the festival from 59 countries around the world.

We look for three young people for the following sections;

  • 1 person for the section GENERATOR +13 – age flexibility 13 to 15 (born between August 1, 2003 to July 31, 2006)
  • 1 person for the section GENERATOR +16 – age flexibility 16 to 17 (born between July 15, 2001 to July 31, 2003) –
  • 1 person for the section GENERATOR +18 – age flexibility 18 to 20 (Born before July 15, 2001)

Selected young people will travel to Italy for the Festival with The Little Art staff. The programs most possibly will be arranged as follows:

Departure to Italy: July 17th, 2020
Return to Pakistan: July 28th, 2020

The participants’ will bear cost of return flight, visa, health insurance and management fee (Total amount of Rs 250,000/-.

Salam International Youth Film Festival is the first event of this scale and kind in Azerbaijan. Every year festival invites children from various countries with an opportunity learned about the traditions of other countries, and most importantly, each participant has made new friends at Salam 2020. The jury will also have the opportunity to learned about the Azerbaijan history, culture and art.

We look for four young people for the following sections;

  • 2 persons for the section GENERATOR +13 – age flexibility 13 to 15 (born between August 1, 2003, to July 31, 2006)
  • 2 persons for the section GENERATOR +16 – age flexibility 16 to 17 (born between July 15, 2001, to July 31, 2003)

Selected young people will travel to Azerbaijan for the Festival with The Little Art staff. The programs most possibly will be arranged in September 2020

The participants’ will bear the cost of return flight, visa, health insurance and management fee (Total amount of Rs 150,000/-.

The Isfahan International Film Festival for Children and Youth is the largest children’s film festival in Iran which presents a wide range of quality feature, short and animation films from all around the globe. In addition, ICFF has always tried to expand and develop it programs by hosting workshops, lectures, panels and live interviews. The jury will also have the opportunity to sightseeing the historical city of Isfahan.

We look for 2 young people for the following sections;

  • 2 persons, age between 13-17 year old

Selected young people will travel to Isfahan for the Festival with The Little Art staff. The programs most possibly will be arranged in August 2020

The participants’ will bear the cost of return flight, visa, health insurance and management fee (Total amount of Rs 75,000/-.
